Aly is a business consultant and mentor specialising in the Advertising Production industry, providing services including long-term business strategy and development, new business PR and marketing advice, management consultancy, production knowledge and mentoring.
With over 30 years of industry experience as a Producer, Executive Producer and Managing Director, she is known for her approachability, pragmatism, straight-talking, kindness and passion.
Aly started her career at in the early 90's at Weilands, in 2002 she joined 2AM Films as a producer and remained there for 20 years becoming an Exec Producer in 2016 and Managing Director in 2021.
Aly has worked with some exceptional commercial and Film/TV directors including Frank Budgen, Paul Weiland, Wim Wenders (Paris Texas, Wings of Desire, Buena Vista Social Club), Becky Martin (Succession, Peepshow, Veep), Tom George (This Country, See How They Run), Richard Laxton (Mum, Him and Her, Joan), Miranda Bowen (Killing Eve, Women in Love) and Daniel Dewsbury (Hatton, Louis Theroux, The Mighty Redcar)
In August 2024 Aly set up her own consultancy business, Aly Moffat Consulting
She has worked around the globe with some of the worlds best and biggest agencies including Mother, AMV BBDO, Ogilvy, JWT, RKY&R, BBH, Wieden & Kennedy and global brands including Stella Artios, Guinness, Ford, Honda, Tesco, Sainsbury's, M&S, McDonalds, Unilever, Danone, Dyson and PZCussons
Aly is a huge advocate for creating and supporting pathways for underrepresented talent into the industry, discovering and nurturing new talent and supporting and mentoring young people looking to break into advertising production, she is currently working with several industry initiatives in this area as both a mentor and advisor.
